Overview
Building on the experience of over seven years in mission work and twenty medical mission trips to third world countries, we have treated more than 12,854 patients with an additional 4685 people around the world committing their lives to Christ. Upon this base the three pillars of Hearts Afire were founded. The first is Medical Outreach Missions. The second is Evangelical Crusades / Family Missions, and the third is Christian Summer Camp Scholarships.

Short & Long Term Visions:
Medical
To address the local and regional medical needs of the areas visited, including the provision of medical care and education regarding public health issues. Promotion of trained health care workers in short term health care missions, while developing an educational system for local / regional health care workers in a rural and / or clinic setting will enable us to provide continuum of care. Involvement of all medical and health care university programs to promote short and long term mission field experiences.
Evangelical
To provide evangelical support to in country missionaries and nationals involved in evangelical work. To hold crusades with hands on ministry, including deliverance and healing. Also, through the evangelical and medical outreaches, to provide ongoing discipleship by local churches of the new converts.
Family
The promotion of family projects / missions to address the regional needs aside from the health care, i.e. construction, school education, wells, and other in country missionary projects. Enhance family relationships and comfort with working together in real life worthwhile projects.
Children
To promote educational and spiritual development of children both domestically and internationally by offering scholarships to prequalified underprivileged children to attend Christian summer mission camps. Eventually to add internship programs for camp counselors and graduate students in childhood education.
Humanitarian / Philanthropic / Intercultural Expansion Vision:
Hearts Afire will provide an opportunity for individual, corporate, and governmental donors to partake in helping to fulfill the "great commission" without having to directly be involved.
Some individuals have health, travel, or time concerns. However, they have financial resources they are willing to invest in providing medical care for the needy worldwide and in growing God's kingdom. At the same time, Hearts Afire will provide an opportunity for prequalified individuals with Biblical knowledge, medical and / or educational or public health resources to have complete or supplemental financial support in directly providing these resources to those in need worldwide. Cross cultural teaching opportunities are also available for both medical and evangelical leaders. Mission Trips that include all or at least more than one family member are encouraged to help strengthen families with real life experiences.
In addition, we will provide an opportunity for children without the financial resources to attend Christian summer mission camps in order to expand their knowledge of Christ and fellowship with other Christian children while also training them on work in the mission field. Many of these same children will have later opportunities to join us on the international mission field.
