Vilma Vega, MD
Vilma was born in Lima, Peru but grew up in Chicago. She is an Internal Medicine / Infectious Disease / HIV specialist who visualized her life as a medical missionary ever since she can remember. She was fortunate to have received her BS degree in biology along with a minor in theology and philosophy from Loyola University of Chicago, and her MD from University of Illinois and her IM/ID/HIV training from Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami. She is currently with Infectious Disease Associates in Sarasota, FL and presently serves as the Clinical Research director for IDA Center for Clinical Studies. She also is the president of Vega Consulting, LLC, a medical and motivational speaking company. Finally she works as the HIV MD preceptor for various Florida university graduate programs, and is a member of various pharmaceutical company advisory boards and speakers bureaus. |

Joseph P. Pecoraro, MD
Joe was born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Ocean Gate, NJ. He attended the University of South Florida where he obtained a BA in Zoology, followed by an MD degree also from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He is a solo Vascular and General Surgeon in Bradenton, Florida and the founder of the Cosmetic Vein Clinic of Florida, Inc. In addition to his surgical publications, he has been a featured expert on many television shows. As an active church member, he is also on the Board of a local Christian radio station. God called Joe to the short-term mission field in 1999 and since that time, the Lord has expanded his vision and his international mission work. His wife and children have accompanied him on many of his trips. He has received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and has preached and provided hands on ministry through which the Lord has healed many people both here and abroad. |

Rhonda Pecoraro
Rhonda is a native Floridian and received her BA in Fine Arts at the University of South Florida. She has used her artistic talents to glorify God through murals that portray Biblical stories and creation themes. She is a dedicated and supportive wife and mother. On her first overseas mission, the Lord renewed and expanded her work with children in the U.S., driving her to help the less fortunate experience involvement in Christian activities. She has sponsored underprivileged children and teens, enabling them to attend Christian Summer Camps. |
